The new facility of the Janáček Conservatory Ostrava (built in 1996) is ideally suited to large-scale music projects. Besides having 70 classrooms and practice rooms, it contains an excellent medium-size hall (which seats 400), a recording studio, four dance studios, drama studios and rehearsal space for an orchestra. For the duration of the Ostrava Days, the entire facility of the Janáček Conservatory is available the Institute.
